End of 2008, EAFAS signed a Convention with SEFA (Service d’Exploitation de la Formation Aéronautique – the French DGAC Training Organisation) and simulator slots Providers to conduct TRI/SFI training courses in cooperation.
These training courses intend to train Airlines captains towards TRI or SFI ratings as well as the authorisation to perform Line Training and Checking, in accordance with JAR-FCL1 requirements (JAR-FCL1.360 through 1.370) and under a French DGAC course approval. For foreign customers, an approval can be negotiated with their National Authority on the basis of this F-DGAC approval.
The MPA (Multi-Pilot Aircrafts) type ratings on which SEFA TRI trainers are allowed to perform these trainings are:
- ATR 42, ATR 72,
- Embraer 120, 135 and 145,
- DASSSAULT Falcon all types,
- CESSNA all types,
- SAAB 340 and 2000,
- CANADAIR turbo propellers.
We are also preparing new agreements for BOEING 737, 757 and 767.
The course syllabus includes Part 1 ground instruction (Teaching § Learning, Human Factors and specific TRI training techniques and regulations), Part 2 Simulator (2 sessions on a JAR-STD 1A Flight Simulator) and Flight instruction (on the Company aircraft type). When the customer Airline Company has no approved TRI Supervisor, we provide in addition the Supervision simulator session with authorised supervisors. So we may give our customers a complete service up to the final rating delivery.
All necessary information about pre-requisites, course contents, organization, prices and calendar of Part 1 sessions could be given on request by:
